Stop Torture of Andean Condors

The Andean condor is an endangered species and revered in the mountains it calls home. But that hasn’t stopped its harassment from becoming a spectacle during bullfights.

Tell the government of Peru to stop this inhumane treatment of condors during bullfight festivals.

Condors are are tied to the back of a bull for drunken festival-goers to pluck at its feathers. The poor birds easily and often break their legs and wings trying to free themselves from restraints. Even if a bird does escape, it’s likely to die in the wild from its injuries.

Torturing condors is no way to honor them. Demand the government of Peru make this cruel practice illegal.
